Somer Huntley oversees the Operations team and the Human Resources Department at the Dream Corps. She has spent over nine years of her career helping Van Jones build multiple enterprises, including Rebuild the Dream, Magic Labs Media, the Reform Alliance, and the programs of the Dream Corps. Somer is a founding member of the Dream Corps, and brings her wealth of experience and expertise to her role as a sounding board and advocate for all team members. On the day-to-day, Somer is utilizing her extensive background in risk management, general business operations and processes, conflict resolution, management strategies and human resources; she also has accounting, financial analysis, and budget development expertise. Somer also manages all of Dream Corps fiscal sponsorship projects and serves as a thought-partner for the CEO in organizational development and change management. Before working with the Dream Corps and Van Jones, Somer worked at the Rainforest Action Network, and she holds a Master’s Degree in Ecological Economics from San Francisco State University.
